I'm a big fan of animation and art, and I love drawing my butt off as a hobby. I enjoy listening to music from the 1960s because I feel the music of that time generates some very positive assurance of life that we need to pay attention to.
A lot of the figures I draw are animal-based, but it has no real affiliation with being a furry. It's actually due to having grown up on stuff like Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, and such, so that's where it came from---been doing it like that since I was four. I think that animals have an instant appeal---they're easily adored in art and animation. Also, I happen to have a hard time drawing human figures, so that's also why I turn to animals. Plus, animals are neutral, so you don't end up pissing off somebody because their ethnicity wasn't involved or wasn't portrayed "fairly" (i.e., like the equivalent to God) *cough*PrincessAndTheFrog*cough*.
